Wild Geese Gathering
A magical blend of connection, co-creation and celebration
Thu 25 - Sun 28 June 2026
Woodbury Salterton, Devon
“Whoever you are, no matter how lonely, the world offers itself to your imagination, calls to you like the wild geese, harsh and exciting - over and over announcing your place in the family of things.”
Mary Oliver
-
"A joyous and special reunion (even with strangers). Re-unified soul connection with nurturing holding."
-
"An experience of wonder with past participants coming together to celebrate our shared journey."
-
"A place where practicing nature facilitators can co-create what they need at this time."
Coming home…
We invite the Wild Geese to flock together for some co-created magic under the summer sun!
The focus will be on connection, co-creation and celebration - with plenty of opportunities to deepen relationships old and new, and share what professional needs and requests we each might have. This is the plan:
THURSDAY: Landing. Together we will start settling into a slower natural rhythm, connect with each other and orientate ourselves to the land. In the evening, we will share some pleasing peanut stew (for old times sake!) and have a classic Change in Nature fireside with music, stories, games and laughter.
FRIDAY: Connection. We will hold space for you to unwind, reconnect and come alive. Expect sensory awareness, playfulness, imagination and going deeper into heart-space - with lots of practices that we did not have the time to offer during the Nature Facilitation Training.
SATURDAY: Co-creation. It is very much over to you, with opportunities for open space, collaboration and workshops held by the community. In the evening we’ll have a co-created Summer Banquet and celebratory festivities.
SUNDAY: Going Forth. Together we will explore how, as individuals and a movement, we might grow and evolve together.
-
"An extremely needed, restful, joyful experience."
-
"A gathering in a field with people who care about the world to play together, resource each other, find new ideas, collaborate and have fun!
-
"Meeting the movement of practitioners where they are at."
Where?
We will gather at a 15 acre smallholding just outside Woodbury Salterton, East Devon. The land offers a mix of verdant meadows and ancient woodland, as well as easy walking access to East Devon’s Pebblebed Heath - an expansive wild place and Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Our hearth is in a beautiful rustic hay barn, with cushions and blankets to keep us cosy. The farm is a nascent rewilding project with 2000 saplings already planted and other plans on the horizon.

Pratical info:
Arrivals from 4pm on Thursday. There will be informal free time to land, set up your tent and mingle - with dinner at 6:30pm and a fireside around 8pm.
We will formally close by 1pm on Sunday. This means you might have some time on Sunday to visit a local beach with others before heading home - so you might want to plan for this!
All dinners and breakfasts are included (you bring your own packed lunches).
We will be camping in a beautiful meadow (you provide your own tent and bedding). Camper vans are permitted too.
Sliding scale: Guidance on which rate to pay.
Paying it forward: We are offering this gathering at significantly lower rates than standard Change in Nature gatherings. If there is any surplus after accounting for our time, funds will be used to support bursary places on our Nature Facilitation Course.
