The Year Tree

A FREE reflection tool for growth and renewal

Imagine your year as a tree — the soil representing what nourishes you, the root network representing the people who support you, the trunk what strengthens you, the fruits as your gifts to the world and the falling leaves as what you release. The Year Tree invites you to pause, reflect and connect with your experiences over the past year while envisioning the path ahead.

This simple, free tool designed by Change in Nature and collaborator Martha Tilston is your guide to:
🌿 Reflect on last year's achievements, challenges and growth.
🌟 Set intentions for the coming year, rooted in your values and aspirations.
🍂 Let go of what no longer serves you, creating space for new opportunities.

Whether you’re seeking clarity, inspiration or closure, The Year Tree is here to help you honour your journey and step into the year ahead with renewed purpose.

We recommend creating some space without distractions for a good hour or two. You may like to do this with friends or family - creating a meaningful and powerful opportunity for deeper connection that can feel so very rare and precious. Or you may like to do this alone with a journal.

We would love to hear about your experience and reflections. Please tag @change.in.nature #theyeartree on Instagram.

We are also offering a FREE workshop on the evening of the 20th January if you would like to join with a like-minded community and share your insights and intentions with others. Click here to register. And if you have found this valuable, you may be interested in our Nature’s Compass programme - an online journey through the year marking each of the seasonal turning points which starts in February.

Start your reflection and watch your year take root and bloom.
